People are remaining uneducated on the herb, believing that people would steal from their mother for an eighth, just like crack.
People are going to jail for doing something that is less harmful then an aspirin.
Sick people and people in pain and who have no appetite are losing out on a great remedy.
We keep cutting down trees for paper.
We use a rope that isn't as strong.
There's a lot more.
Drugs are not the problem. Selfishness, ignorance, and stupidity are.

Lots of hard working, normal life leading individuals are put in jail simply for possessing small amounts of this natural herb. I'm not talking about big time drug lords here, i'm talking about an eighth of an ounce, just enough to roll a couple of decent sized blunts. Its pathetic...
Some random people in the south, and some random people in Canada and South America aren't rich because they don't have huge legal weed farms. Alcohol is more popular because of it.
The biggest difference is the hemp that would be mass produced would replace paper for almost everything. Way cheaper. Paper companies are not cool with that.
Well, I think that if they legalize marijuana then it leads to over use and abuse. Just like prescribed meds., alcohol, tabacco, etc. and will allow people yet another legal thing to get addicted to. I have had my time where I sampled maijuana, but I have been strong enough not to get hooked, move on to other (or worse things), and have stopped. I know not everyone can stop themselves and there is already enough addiction in the world, lets try not to make it easier to get addicted to something else.
1. People are getting arrested, fined and jailed over a substance that is not very dangerous... much less dangerous that alcohol for instance.
