The point I am making is that I think knowing that he loved me unconditionally helped me to relax and take pressure off of me to finally be free of worry. This freedom allowed me to get pregnant and have our children.

b) If your girlfriend was concealing the fact she could not have kids then obviously she felt scared and threatened. If you are the type that must have a child and she knew that then that is why she didn't feel the need to tell you.

c) I think it would have been better if people tell the truth about themselves, any medical problems, etc. in the beginning of a relationship. But as you know there are things that stop them from doing just that.

Hmmmm... well... I actually dated a guy once who was unable to have kids because of an injury when he was a kid. He never told me about it until we had been dating for 6 months. I must say that at first I felt a little wierd about it, I kind of felt like he should have told me earlier. But now I realize that it really wasn't my business at that point. We were just dating, not considering marriage. If we had been engaged and he neglected to tell me until that point, that would be a different story. I really don't think that a person who can't have kids should feel like they have to notify every person they date, if they did, they might not be given a chance to have a really wonderful relationship with someone. If two people really fall in love, it isn't going to matter so much if one can't naturally concieve child. And after all, there are always going to be unwanted children out there who desperately need parents- not being able to have your own kids really isn't such a bad thing when you think about it.

I wouldn't. We could always adopt. I would be mad if it was concealed. I think I should know so we can make other plans.
