Why would a bath tire me out

I've never liked baths as they would exhaust me. It's strange because everyone I've ever talked to has said that taking a bath would rejuvenate them but I would just get plain tuckered out. What could be the reason?

Answer:

if the bath is very hot it will make you sleepy. Most people take baths to help them relax (ie sleep). the hot water will cause your muscles to relax thus making you lethargic. If you want rejuvination try running the water ice cold for 15 seconds before you end your shower. You will tell the difference immediatly

baths relax you and sooth your muscles so taking one would probably get you comfortable enough to feel like your tired but it wouldnt make you tired
the hot water
A nice warm bath relaxes me, great to unwind and make me feel ready to have a good nights sleep.

Some bath products you can add to the water are scented with smells that do rejuvenate. Lavender is one that promotes relaxation.

Water is too hot...you stay in it too long. I personally like showers...and short ones. I have way too much too do to sit in a bathtub or stand in a shower stall for 20 minutes like some people do....get in and get out. Also, I've been told that towards the end of a shower, if you gradually decrease the hot water to lukewarm and then cold, it opens your pores and wakes you back up...haven't tried that one yet, as I usually shower before going to bed!
Well thats the same problem for me, but after you take baths regularly you will get used to it, like i did, and it really depends on your weight too i guess
Ok, not a medical answer on my part here, but just from my experience: you let your body relax completely in the bath and maybe you are one of those people who is rather stresssed and only stops being so busy every once in a while.. so when you stop and have a bath your body can actually have time to be tired and relax hence being tired out.
The reason the bath tires you is because of what is in the water. Did you know that the water you bathe in contains chlorine and fluoride among many other chemicals? Not only is your body soaking in these toxins, but you are breathing them in through the steam around you! I'm not quite certain exactly how it affects your body to make you tired (I read this a looong time ago), but...think about it, basically...you are bathing in a gas chamber. I suggest you get a shower filter that purifies the water. Whatever is going on your skin, you should be able to consume because your skin soaks up much more than you could ever eat or drink.

Hope this was helpful!

It's like sitting in a tub full of lavender.
