The simple truth is..your eyes WILL NOT pop out of your head if you sneeze with them open. Many people CAN and DO sneeze with their eyes open and others can train them self to do the same. Closing the eyes is simply a natural reaction or stimuli along with the actions of the facial muscles. Controlling those muscles is why some people can keep their eyes open.
