when my fingers are very close to the car body particularly when I'm opening the door and more recently the gate, I experience something like electric charges. what is wrong with my body?

I get that too!!! Now I dont close the car door with my hand, I use my bag or my foot to shut it. It's just static.

Do you always wear a jumper? or do you have some sort of woolen coat? If so then everytime you put these on you are creating static electricity. anything you touch, even another human being you will get a small snap of electricity. I wouldn't worry to much I don't think your gonna be the next FLASH.
