Why does this lump keep appearing in my neck
I've got a lump on the lft side of my neck about level with the bottom of my ear and about two inches further back. (Lymph node?) It seems to swell to about the size of a marble and stay that size for days or weeks. I haven't noticed any health complaints associated with it, but some times is sore to the touch. It has swollen up again today and you can just lightly run a finger across the surface of the skin and feel it sticking out. Not too worried about it, but curious as to what it is and why it does this.
Answer:go to the doctor....when lymph nodes swell, it is usually a sign that you have an infection. Generally, a node will not swell periodically for no reason at all....and it can be a sign of more serious things...Or it could be an ingrown hair or a blind pimple that flares up now and then......please call the doctor and go get it checked.....good luck
