Answer:
water retention....there are alot of different things that can cause it..if it is chronic or bothersome you should talk to your doctor about it...some times it is only temporary and he may give you a prescription to help relieve.
dont eat salt
its water and it settled there
sometimes when you are on you feet a long time or overweight this may happen
if you can sit with your feet up this may help
There is some reasons for swelling, it could happen cause high blood pressure or sit tight in one place for a long time... try not to eat a lot of salt, drink more water and moving around lately.
That just my 2 cents idea.
You are retaining fluid. I don't know the cause because your description is too vague. Could be caused from too much salt in the diet, kidney problems, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, pregnancy, etc. Go to the doc. That's the only way you will find out what's going on with your body.
Your body is probably retaining water, you may need a water pill to help you pass the excess water in your system (more bathroom vsits),you cant get these pills over the counter, you need a prescription. there are side effects, you may become constipated.i hope ive been of some help .Jan
These other people have told you some reasons so ill tell you that you can get them to go down by elevating them whenever possibly above the level of your heart, if you are on your feet alot, some support socks might help
