Why do someone would bleed heavily thorugh the mouth while asleep

it happened a few times that when wake up there is blood everywhere and is coming out of my mouth. It had happen only during my sleep.
Answer:I think I would be talking to my DR. about this. I have never heard of this before.Get checked out.

Maybe you bite your gums in your sleep?... like some people grind their teeth. Or you could have Gum disease (bleeding of gums due to plaque etc)?? Whatever it is I think you should consult your doctor. Hope all is well soon!!!
