I'm a very gentle man and people often miscontrue me as being a stuck up. What do i do? Do i change my personality? I feel sick when i try to be what i'm not.

Because your a scare crow? Are they literally running away from you? I have the same problem, but they don't run very far and then just congregate and titter in small groups on the outskirts of my hearing.
