Probably because they have problems with constipation so having a bowel movement is somewhat rare and really exciting for them.

Because pooping is something we all do and it's something we can all relate to. Pooping is not constrained by the limits of age, race, sex, religion or anything else. It's one of the few things of universal interest in the human race.

Also, maybe they just want to shut up the young whippersnappers with their iPod and internets and earrings in their noses. I tell ya, the kids today!

usually they don't get excited. process of defecation is dependant on the sphinctor,where stool press on sphinctor to open and allow defecation , this process continue as long pressure continues, people feel more relaxed
