I have had a bit of a cold for a couple of days .. sore throat etc and my ears won`t shut up lol

Answer:

the congestion, from your cold, has plugged up your Eustachian tubes, (they run from your ear to your sinus cavity), and this causes pressure build-up that results in the popping that you are hearing.

When you have a cold and sneeze a lot your ears will pop on and off. It'll go away after a few days when you feel better...

This happens to me after a cold. If you are in high altitude or went on a plain ride recently that might be the problem.

I think it's because I've had so many tonsilitis infections. It's very annoying.
