Why do i still feel chills
my doctor said that i felt chills during school like i had a cold because i wasn't eating, i have a fear of eating and take meal replacement drinks for the moment but why do i still feel unbearingly cold/? how do i make it go away?
Answer:Anorexics feels cold all the time. I lost a lot of weight through excess dieting (the heathly way) and I still felt cold all the time. Dieting lowers your body temperature. You may also have a slow heart beat from not eating and lack of excercise. Continue to eat. It will take a while for you to lose that cold feeling. You may even more sensitive to heat in the summer. I'm not sure why, but I read this somewhere. Just keep on eating. If you don't eat, you will get mental slowness and develop chronic pain. I started to get some of this pain and it hurts SO much. And the drop dead fatigue is so scary. I wasn't even trying to lose weight at that point, but because I wasn't eating properly, I because low in iron and I became even colder and my thinking became even more stupid. The fatigue and pain really scared me and now I eat. I am still cold in the winter an my body temperature is still below normal, but it is slowly going up. Just dress warm. Get your iron checked and don't take Sudafed, it has medicine in it that will make you feel colder.
Eat.
And if you can't do that, drink warm things, like hot chocolate, and wear lots of layers.
