Why do i keep getting dizzy, and cant remember anything
My doctor said i am having problems with my blood pressure all she said was to eat more salt and drink more water. My blood work was normal but I feel like I am losing it. I keep forgetting everything. Plus I am dizzy all the time.
Answer:Have you ever heard of dysautonomia? I have it its a disfunction of the autonomic nervous system, and causes all sorts of symptoms. One of the major symptoms is blood pressure problems, because of the low blood volume in my body. People with dysautonomia have about 80% of the 100% of fluids theyre supposed to have in their bodies. Have your doc check your blood pressure sitting down, and then again standing up. Chances are it will drop. This is why you get dizzy. I cant really explain the forgetting part but i know that its normal with the disorder, I have it too.
The problem with dysautonomia is that not many doctors are very familiar with it, and even if they are, many dont understand it CORRECTLY. If your doctor has not suggested this already, you need to see someone else. It might be hard at first to find a good doctor that is knowledgeble about the disorder, I have to see a specialist 2 hours away. Keep up LOTS of water though. Make sure its always available.
Im a part of a support group online. Go to forums.potssupport.com. You can talk to some of the people on there and youll probably find yourself really relating with some of the symptoms.
Im not trying to scare you, this is a disorder that can be very well controlled, and its really not life-threatening, just "lifestyle-threatening". Id recommend you at least google it. Good luck!!!
