Why do ONLY your hands get prunny when taking a bath or long shower

health advisory Hospital Health advisory 2007-11-16 5:20:07

This is not fair to the rest of my body, I mean they all put in equal time and effort, but no the hands get all the glory! When will my body get a clue?

Answer:

The outermost layer of the skin swells when it absorbs water. It is tightly attached to the skin underneath, so it compensates for the increased area by wrinkling.

I don't know, but I've noticed that my fingers get prunny a lot faster when I masturbate. Anyone know why?
The hands has less fatty tissue than all the other parts of the body.

My toes get pruny as well especially after a 2 hour swim in the sea.
