I was at the hot springs and I noticed that some kid had a blue butt. It looks like a bruise. My Japanese friend said that a lot of Japanese kids have blue butts. She thought it was an Asian thing, but I'm an Asian and I didn't have a blue butt when I was a child. She said that the colour fades as the child gets older. I checked with my mum and she said all of us, my siblings and I, didn't have blue butts.

Mogolian spots are pretty common amongst Asian children. My kids are half Japanese and half European mixture and they all had mongolian spots. They do go away within a year or two. My youngest is 2 1/2, and his spot is almost completely gone.
