White balls coming from throat

My fiance always has these small little white balls come out of his throat that he says smell bad when they come out... I never paid much attention cause I thought it was gross, but last night I had a monsterous one come out of my throat that also smelled and for a week straight before I passed it I was getting a taste of something horrible from the back of my throat and just thought it was sinuses. Has anyone ever had this before? Is it treatable?

Happened to me when I was younger and I have heard of it from other friends, we never found out what it was. I think it's totally harmless though. I never get sick.
I had it since I was a little girl. Havent in a while,but when my mom took me to the dr as a teenager, they didnt know what it was and thought I was crazy or something. If you find out, please let me know so that I wont think I am crazy !
Hello! I have this problem. My doctor called them tonsil balls...or something of that nature. What is is is that your tonsils have openings and food and whatnot end up getting stuck in the little openings, eventualy gather up to the point it bothers you, kind of makes you feel like you are choking on something, and then you can either pick them out or end up swallowing them! They are horrible, I hate them and the dr. said the only way to get rid of them is to have your tonsils out. Good Luck!
Sounds like you have an infection. Your tonsils sometimes expel these when they are full. They get full when they are working to fight an infection. Speaking from my experience, it means you might want to get a throat culture and see if you have one of many curable ailments such as mono or strep throat. You may be passing this back and forth.
