You should be able to buy Bicarb soda from the supermarket. It's used for cooking and can also be used for getting rid of smells in refrigerators/freezers. Just ask one of the staff where it is. And it's inexpensive. As A smoker, I also use some in the ashtray in the car - helps kill the smell!
Bicarb is the same thing as baking soda; you can find it at any grocery store in the same aisle with flour, sugar, cake mixes, etc.
