When i drive at night my vision gets so blurry
when i drive at night for some reason i can barely see! The lights all blend together and i can't tell distance or anything. I just got my vision checked and got new contacts so i should be good but i'm not!
Answer:I have this same problem and I'm only 21. I wear contacts too but I don't think that has anything to do with it. I got my eyes checked the other day, and even when they were checking my eyes it was hard for me to see the letters not due to my eyes so much but the lighting they used, the room was dim and the letters were on a overhead all lit up. I explained this to them and they said some people are just more sensitive to light and that was that. They didn't say how to fix it, but seriously I feel like a hazard on the road driving at night!!
If you are over 35 years old or so, this is common. Try buying a pair of reading glasses or ask your doctor for a set of "driving" glasses.
They have those glasses out for night driving, usually have yellow lenses, try a pair of those.
Go back to your doctor...they did something wrong or your prescriptions are wrong.
If your using contacts for the first time, your doctor might tell you to use these for a certain hours and gradually increase the time of usage?? Reason being, our eyes need to adjust for this "change". And also, try using some re wetting eye drops to help your eyes and the contacts from getting it dry.
