What woud get you to stop smoking
I dont smoke. I was just wondering what would it take a person who smokes right now to stop smoking? I really hate it when people smoke and smoking is really bad for you and I was wondering... what would it take for a smoker to stop smoking?
Answer:After smoking for 25 years. I came down with a bad cold. And as I was lighting up a smoke, a four year old child said to me "You can't really be enjoying that."
It struck me hard that this child had more sense than I did. I quit.
That was 30 some odd years ago.
for them to care that they are ruining thier lungs and the rest of the body with every stinky puff
My dad caught a cold and it was pretty bad. He had to quit smoking. He got over his cold and he still hasn't smoked. I think I'll bake him something as a celebration (three weeks!).
I don't smoke either..
But I do know this, it's easier to give up alcohol for an alcoholic than a smoker to stop smoking.
There was money involved, and the drinker is a non-drinker now for 4 years, and the smoker friend is still puffing away, all alone behind my garage, out of my sight and nose rador!!
it makes me throw up.
I live in California......and it's almost a non-smoking state!!
They will only stop if and when they truly want to, or even when their health depends upon it........it's a hard habit to kick!!
