different foods to stay away from, ect.
Answer:stay away from fried and fatty foods
stay away from fat and light on the dairy and sugars.
The old rule used to be to stay away from fatty foods. That's a good idea for everyone anyway.
Other than that you can eat whatever you like. (Do eat healthy).
LIquid diet. Drink Red Heart Rum
Don't have any milk which includes ANY dairy products!! No fruit or vegetables because of the acid I guess.Basically when I had mine taken out they put me on a NO EAT NOTHIN!!! Diet. I lived on broiled chicken without the skin, turkey breast and crackers for 8 months but the good news is I lost 60lbs in the process.Good luck.Hope all goes well.
I wasn't put on any kind of special diet when I had my gall bladder removed several years ago. I found out thru trial/error to pretty much stay away from fatty/greasy foods. A little here and there won't hurt but too much at once makes ya sicker than anything.
you should be on a low fat/low grease diet. in other words cut out the fried foods. you will notice that the pain starts after eating this type of food. this should be explained to you post op
no fat
I would recommend staying away from the same foods for a while that you were avoiding before your surgery. It takes the body a while to adjust because it does not store bile in the bladder any more and the bile is released directly into the intestine. Some people have diarrhea for a while after the surgery. So, I think a low fat diet is best to maintain for a while.
