What should i do with like all these surenges
what should i do with surenges.. i have about 200 of them and stuff that were left over from when i got out of the hospital.. and i was just wondering what should i do with all them.,..
what should i do with the surenges that dont have needles on them.. they are just the plastic cases?? and what should i do with the ones that have actual medicine and stuff in them that is left over
and also... the main one is what do i do with surenges that have needles on them.. or all the extra needles...
would i just be able to through them in a dumpster.. does it matter that my name is on them.. could i get introuble for not disposing them a certain way?????
i dont know what to do with them.. plz help
Answer:all these poeple aren't too perceptive... first, it sounds like you were given these medical supplies when you were released from the hospital in order to continue your treatment at home. second, they aren't "BIOHAZARDOUS MATERIALS" unless they have been used, and you didn't say anything about USED needles. the hospitaL you were discharged from should be able to advise you on the proper way to dispose of the needles, as well as the medication.
Take them to your local hospital, explain to them why you have the syringes, and allow them to dispose of them. If the syringes have no medication in them, they make great water shooters for kids!
take them to the hospital. do not throw them away. they are BIO HAZARDOUS WASTE and need to be disposed of properly. take all of them-with or without needles, used or not. the hospital can get rid of them properly
Talk to the hospital or your doctor. They may have a service for collecting them and disposing of them. Never put syringes in with regular rubbish/trash.
