Answer:Keep trying! A lot of people use a "mist" or drops and to be effective you need a full RINSE! Congestion will cause you to keep your "goo" in your head and it'll get old and yucky.Sudafed only opens the passages, but the gunk might be "stuck to the wall". You might have to try a couple of times!
To relieve the symptoms and help your nose, try a saline nasal rinse (not a spray.) A full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It soothes with warmth, it draws out the entire gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean, but without the eye stinging).

All those inhalers work temporarily and than the symptoms get worse. Most people just rest cause that's what is recommended. I clear my sinus by stimulating the area. Top of the nose (bridge) and push out towards sides of face. The snore strips have the same concept at opening sinuses

From what I understand using a saline spray really works! Dissolve sea salt in warm water and snort or spray it into your nose. You should make some Ginger Tea too and you'll feel better in no time...
Ginger Tea to 1/2 gallon of water slice up 1 inch piece of Ginger and boil it for about 15 minutes. Strain the Ginger out and add the juice of a lemon, and an orange and a few spoonfuls of honey... It will clear your head and the hotness of the ginger will help you heal up!!
