About Detoxing?

I want to detox myself... I've been doing the Sauna Thing and Drinking water all summer. I think i'm ready to fast. I'm going to do a 3 day fast (is that too many?) I eat well, and I will eat like I regularly would as soon as my 3 days are up.

Answer:

it's actually healthy for your body to fast, as long as it's done properly. i don't think a 3 day fast would do much for you, i suggest fasting one day every week for better results

detoxing for drugs is painful by what i've seen on tv

detoxing to lose weight is dangerous

and detoxing to get healthier will make you worse.

Not eating for 3 days is extremely dangerous if you're used to eating well. your body will slowly start shutting down from the sudden loss. stick to your regular eating and lifestyle.

I wouldn't neccissarily fast. There are detox pills that naturally help expel the contents of your body. Sounds gross, I know. But that is the best way I know to say it.
