anyway, I was put back on Prozac for the divorce and had to take myself off that after a year. it was hard as well.
those drugs are horrible!!
I have been off all that stuff for about 5 yrs now and I can say that I would rather deal with my depression with therapy than with pills!!

I went through the same thing. I HATED Paxil more than anything on this Earth. It is a horrible drug. Here's what I experienced when I tried to quit:
bloody stools, night sweats, hot flashes, cold sweats, vertigo, nausea, nightmares, trembling arms and legs, headaches . . .
The list goes on and on. I tapered from 30 mg to 5 mg over a 2 week period and STILL had all those withdrawl symptoms.
Hang in there, it WILL get better. And you'll feel better than ever when it's out of your system.
