Ive got an eating disorder and need advice
Try eating plain things like slices of bread or plain dry cereal for breakfast and dinner. Apples are also very good. You should drink 5 litres of water a day. Drink cups of water with everything you eat. Vegetables are vital for a healthy diet. If you are frightened of throwing up and feeling sick, just try to have one 'unit' of fruit of veg a day; be it an apple, a few carrots, some salad - each day you shoudl have some vegeatbles, some carbohydrates (bread, pasta, rice, potatoes) and some protein (meat, nuts, fish, mushrooms, milk)
Slowly, you can build up to other foods. You shouldn't worry that you will be sick; its very unlikely that most foods will make you sick.
I'm going to guess you're in your teens, or in early twenties. If so, then you need (NEED NEED) food every day. Protein especially, to help with muscle growth. Calcium for bones. Vitamins and minerals are needed too.
You say you like the feelings of hunger pains; although I find this a little strange, I'm not going to comment there. i would say find soemthing else you lke the feeling of that is not connected to your lack of eating, and try and focus on that, and stop yourself feeling the hunger pains by eating.
Good luck on getting better and healthier. i wish you well.
Hi Rachael, you need to retrain yourself from your current way of life - hunger pains are your body's way of telling you there is a problem so they're not a good thing.
