Ive been feeling like i only bring pain to others
im 18 and have been having alot going on lately. Self hate, feelings of worthlessness and uselessness, thinking im a failure and i am hate by everyone and recently that i only bring pain to others.
ive got all this pain inside and its killing me. I am very good at putting a facade up making it look like nothings wrong but it takes almost all my energy to do it. When i slip up and let it out it just brings my family and friends down and i hate that. I feel trapped. Suicide is ruled out since that would only bring them more pain and i don't want that. I force myself to keep them inside so i don't make anyone else suffer but its really killing me.
ive already been talking to people i trust about this and am on medication. It doesnt seem like anyone understands and the pain never goes away like it used to. I just feel like i should suffer before anyone else should.
Answer:..hey!don't be like that..be positive..you are not afailure..I've felt what you felt before,but I tried to fix it..please,enjoy your life..be honest of what you're feeling..your family is there to help you,share it with them..they will be hurt,but they love you and they are willing to share in your pains..look for someone you can trust..share it with them too..this I tell you,if you don't come out of your shell,you'll feel more opeless by the day.. it might affect you psychologically and you'll find yourself doing the worst things..whatever your religion,I'm aChristian and I don't want to insult other religions,pray,ask help from your supreme being..love yourself..

you sound depressed and it sounds like the medicines and therapy have not fully kicked in. It takes 4-6 weeks AT THE RIGHT DOSE for the medication to work. In the mean time, hang in there and know that this will pass.
