Forget about all those bad times and focus on the good times.....and make your life take you to more good times !

Ask for a change in medication this one may not be working for you.

Socialize with Positive Thinking People.

Take a class like painting or something of your interest.

Go to church you may have so many friends you never knew you had at church.

This is just what I think.

First of all go see your Doctor and get your medicine changed. What works on one person may not be right for another. Once you get something more suited to you, you will feel more like getting out of the house and doing things with your friends. Hang in there.
It takes awhile for an ssri to work in your system. if paxil doesnt work there are many out there that do. maybe go to an herbologist and take a natural approach. i loved paxil it worked great for me except the weight gain was horriable. go to quitpaxil.com before taking any steps of getting off,of course with ur drs permission and close supervision. it a hard drug to come off of. be prepared and good luck.
Ok, this sounds a little wierd, I know, but make an effort to smile at people. Even if its just random people you pass on the street. A lot of times they'll smile back, and smiling in and of itself has been shown to improve people's moods.

In addition, try getting on a regular daily schedule if you aren't already. And try to make time to exercise and make sure you get plenty of sunshine. Best of luck.
