Ive been cutting since i was in the sixth grade I am now in the 11th grade

All rehabs gonna do is put you in a room with someone watchiong you to make sure ou dont self harm. If you have admitted yourself they will ask you not to do it if you nare caught mid cut, but will not physically stop you. If you are sectioned under the mental health act and forced to go to rehab, and caught mid cut, you will be physically stopped.

Either way, you may- and this is what you are hoping for, find another rountine where you manage not to cut.

But your only going to have to go home eventually anyway and go back to the same environment. Same family dynamics, same issues with school...etc,

As someone who has experienced alot of "rehab" (we tend to call it psychiatric inpatient treatment), my best advice to you is to take on the responsibility yourself, though you may feel that asking to go to rehab is doing this, it is infact the opposite, it is going to somewhere else in the hope they will do what you dont feel able to.

Try to make things change in your own world, in the way you deal with things, open up to your psychologist, try CBT,, try talking about how you feel insted of taking it out on the end of a knife. It will feel really sh*tty at first but it will also get easier.

Otherwise this problem isnt going to go away, it'll be there laying in wait for the next time you feel off balance, you will attempt to solve it through cutting, and the way out of the? well you'd have to go back to rehab. and hon, when you are a grown women and self harming (yes it does happen) how are you going to pay for rehab?
