Is there something like zoloft without the sexual side effects
I have been taking zoloft to calm me down because I am a nervus person and I was wondering if there was something simular that didn't have sexual side effects.
Answer:Lexapro! works great... have had no side affects. Been on it for a year!
There are so many different drugs out there. I've been on several and some caused me to suffer the sexual side effects worse than others.
The only one that I have been on that didn't effect me in any way was Wellbutrin XR. I was on a dose high enough that if I was going to have problems, I would have. The thing is, in my opinion it didn't work as well as some of the other ones that we had tried. But I have heard that it works quite well for others. It may be worth a try.

Be careful, just because some drugs work for some people, doesn't mean they'll work for you. Also, some of my friends have gone bonkers when they've tried any of these anti-depressants. Others have had to try a number of different combo's till they found any that worked for them. I also know they wear off with time...some people use alternative medicine to help with anxiety, but some herbs can have side effects, just like prescription drugs can..each person's chemistry is different, so you never know what's going to happen.
