I'm not contemplating suicide but it seems like talking on the phone is not anonymous enough.

i bet u my life is worst then yours. But i forcing myself to think postive. life will change. it looks like u want that. life is like a stock market it goes up and down. or sometime way down but then it raise so high you don't believe its your life. be strong man. no whimps. big hug.

My daughters friend was so distraught and had all the warning signs of depression. ( I don't know, why her parents didn't do something for her.)

One night this past summer, she did commit suicide !

Nothing in life can be that bad hon.

The Samaritans have an email address for the purpose. Of course, calling in physically, and talking one-to-one over a cup of tea and a biscuit or two can help.

I called a suicide hotline once; and they put me on hold; really. I started laughing because the comedian Rodney Dangerfield had a rap song recorded where he said "I can't take it no more, I'm gettin' too old, I called suicide prevention and they put me on hold." I thought about Rodney Dangerfield, and it was so funny I hung up and never felt like calling again.

I don't know, but if you open your phone book, there will be a phone number to call. A friend of mine dialed "911" and said she wanted to kill herself and an ambulance came and took her to a mental hospital. There's no shame in going to one....
