I assume you are speaking of trancending reality. If you want to move beyond imagination, you must escape from reality. The best way to do this is to enter a virtual reality where you will have maximum freedom, yet still be able to support your self in physical reality. Get a second life.

I suppose, if imagination is a function of our intelligence, then beyond intelligence would be the vital force - that which causes plants and animals with seemingly no intelligence to adapt to situations, change colour, change the shape of their bodies, to evolve into higher forms. The vital force should be active in us in an equal measure, trouble is that we don't have any means to be aware of it, to be in contact but we do seem to reach it now and then, in moments of serene tranquillity before a resplendant sunset, moments of intense sorrow and pain.
