Im trying to find a psychiatrist in my area and I was wondering if anyone knows of a website that offers a way to search for doctors and a website that maybe has background information for psychiatrists and psychologists

Yellowbook for your area? Or just do a search on psychiatrists for your city/state. There is no website that will just have a list of all of them. They retire and new ones come along too fast for that. You can also call your insurance company, if you have one.
