Is there a treatment any where in the world for development for brain functions for a retarded child
I would think it would be the same as for any child. Study, repetition, exercises that promote activity in the brain and teach the child to learn. Enrich their surroundings and interact with them, as you would with any child. It may take more effort on your part, but they learn and can become much more than they are originally expected to be.
Nope. Retarded isn't the proper word. It implies that they are slow. In truth, the kid will never catch up.
This is not a sarcastic or ill informed answer. You can't make a retarded person smart, but you can teach them a limited amount of life skills.
There was a medication that I heard of back in the late 90's I've been doing some research it was 20/20 with a couple who had a son with down syndrome.
