Does the disorder affect how much and often the person thinks about what others are thinking about them? Is there another disorder that causes a person to think that someone is watching them in their house, or is it the same disorder? I often have a feeling that someone is in my house, even though I know no one is in my house, I can't shake the feeling. I also constantly overthink about what other people think about me.

Answer:

I'm not sure if there is an actual illness. But what you are feeling is paranoia, and it is sometimes associated with schizophrenia. If you take drugs this is also an side effect of that. Cannabis will make you paranoid and when you are coming down off amphetamines you get pretty paranoid and "twisted" too.

As far as thinking about what other people think of you, I think everyone has this problem, the trick is not to over analyse it, at the end of the day, what other people think of us is none of our business. And it doesn't really matter what others think of you, it only matters what you think of you.

The condition is called paranoia. You always feel that someone is watch, following or checking on you. It is actually quite common.
