Is it true that immunizations can make a person become Autistic

There is also a drug given to induce labor that might increase the risks.

As far at the "epidemic" you hear about, that is exagerated to say the least. Autism was grossly underdiagnosed 30 years ago so when you hear people refer to the rediculous rate increase, they are comparing the inaccurately low rates of 30 years ago, to present times.

Add to that the fact that they broadened the definition. No one would have EVER considered someone like Bill Gates to be autistic 30 years ago.

But it does seem the rate has maybe doubled. Still significant, but not as much as many like to claim.

No. Every test and survey of tests reveal absolutely NO correlation between the MMR vaccine and autism. ONE study, which was later shown to be flawed and financially biased (the doctor who wrote it has since been publicly reprimanded for misconduct) has resulted in this scandalous misinformation. Parents not giving their children MMR have watched their children suffer from measles.

The causes of autism are largely unknown although there appears to be a significant genetic component. Get your child vaccinated. She or he may have a mild reaction against it, but it won't make them autistic. They are either autistic or they aren't. But they are NOT immume to measles from birth.
