Is it true that immunizations can make a person become Autistic
Certain shots in certain people predisposed to the condition.
Some chemical elements of certain shots contain things that aggravate the condition and make it show up with a lot more ferocity and sooner than it would have anyway.
The odds are the same as getting Autisim anyway... so get you kids their shots!
No definite proof but there has to be some common factor for this country to suddenly have so many autistic kids. Mine is 37 yrs old and I have contemplated this matter for years.

Probably not, the US government has studied this issue. The trouble is, autism happens to show up at the age when kids are getting the shots, so people make a connection there that is probably a cooincidence.
The diseases the shots prevent are really awful, no one remembers how awful they were. So even if there is a risk of autism, which there probably isn't, there is a KNOWN risk for the diseases your child would be immunized against, and many of them are fatal or crippling etc. 50 years ago, this debate would be a non-issue, because people knew about polio and all that. It's horrible when a treatment to keep you well can hurt you, but you have to weigh the odds, and the odds are totally in favor of getting the shots. People who are publicizing the autism risks are parents who are devastated that their child is autistic, and they blame the shots, so they are very passionate about their information. The government information is dry and clinical and not so emotionally compelling, but scientifically it is much better information.
