Is it possible that Im depressed
Some of the symptoms I've been experiencing include:
- lack of energy
- feelings of hopelessness
- reduced sex drive
- desire to withdraw from society
- constant worry over various issues
- viewing death as a positive thing, as an end to my problems.
These are a few, and quite frankly, I can't associate my stress with any one issue, as it seems that everything is weighing down on me.
Answer:Yes. It is very possible that you are depressed. But don't let that get you down! Talk to a counselor/therapist and see what you can do about your apathy/suicidal thoughts.
If that doesn't work or is not a feasible option, try to take your mind off your symptoms. Get out more. Exercise. Hang out with and make more friends. Reconnect with family.
But really, get some help either way. Contemplating death/suicide as a positive solution to your problems is DEFINITELY an indicator that SOMETHING is wrong.
And don't worry so much about why you aren't "normal" and happy - everyone has their ups and downs. Just make sure you do something about it before it takes over completely!
