Granted there are those who "make the change" for a time-- and the reason so few people give someone like this any credit at all on the subject is the vast numbers who will have these one or two year "changes" then-- back down they go !!!

And, it definately can be said that anyone who has been there is NEVER TRULY OVER IT and CAN be a "relapse case" at any time in the future---- at some point the there has to be some ease up by the people around someone like this on the acceptance thing ---- The individual themselves though can never ever truly "relax" about it because the moment they do -- the possibility is there that they are going to have "that moment " in time that they are convinced that they can "taste" a touch of their past "just for old time's sake" and ---- there they go !!!!!!

I was once addicted to crank.not crack nor heroin.Crank is more like an acid trip with the stay awake for days cocaine feeling,but yes I was there once.I almost lost my daughters when a friend of mine thought someone in her son's school was going to poison him,so we rushed into the school and she flip out on the principle and before you knew it I was handcuffed and placed in the back of a police car.I had been awake for like 5 days and must of look like real hell,when the woman at the police station asked if I thought I was stable enough to have my children back, it was like a cold slap of reality and my heart just broke,just the thought of losing them was too much.It was then that I turned my life over to Christ and found a way to cope with all the issues I had, that put me in that position to begin with, but with determination and the will to be strong I made it.I moved away and started a better beginning with my girls and I must say they are pretty smart girls with lots to offer.Thank God!!!
