Yes I used to do any drug I could get my hands on and it escelated into needle use. I was arrested as well and so sick of living that lifestyle. I am now drug free (except I smoke weed) and I go to a University and have even made the president's list with a 4.0 GPA!!! I work for an advertising company and everyday it gets easier to move on. Believe me when I tell you if your man has gone through all of the crap in that lifestyle and has been clean, he has done a tremendous amount of work on himself. If you work that hard to change that lifestyle (some people do not ever get out or even want to get out) then you don't ever want to go back because it is a living h*ll. I think you are with a good man who recognizes his faults and did everything in his power to make it right.

Haven't "been there done that" here myself BUT I know of numerous cases of people doing the 180 !!! Have a second cousin who -- to all who have known him-- after many years of absolute insanity with his approach to everything totally inside out and backwards -- finally had an apiphany of some sort and has literally slapped everyone that's ever known him in the floor with the way he has made unbellievable progress in his life since--- you would not believe it unless you had seen it for yourself (this is not a fluke or one of those "for the moment things either--- he's been squared out now for about seven years)
