Is it okay to cry
I tend to cry a bit much over a family death. Is this healthy?
I don't know, but it just seems to let my feelings out. If I keep then bottled up, I feel depressed and just not myself. So please, is it really OKAY to cry, and mourn this much??
Answer:Most definitely.
It has been proven that different tears under different circumstances: like happy tears, mourning tears, are chemically composed differently.
So, what does that tell you??
It is a way for all of us to not only release built up emotions; properly go thru the process of grief; but, also to release toxins from the body.
If, however, it goes on for months, you might want to see a grief specialist, counselor, or minister. Too much of ANYTHING is never good and could indicate you are suffering from major depression.
But, for now, have a GOOD CRY.
And, God Bless.
No it's not okay.
My parents told me so and beat me every time I cried.
Now I haven't cried in 10 years.
yeah
YES.
mourning.
I couldnt imagine it not being okay there have been situations when I cried for days. but honestly. if u continuously cry about the same thing then maybe u need to find a resolution to your problem
Girl I cry almost everyday. My husband is in the military and I cry just because I miss him. Crying is very healthy and just because you are emotional, is NOT a bad thing! Keep your head up!!
YES it is ok to cry....and do not worry about how much or how often. Your body and soul and mind are doing what needs to be done for you to start healing.
