Or is it putting them in an awkward position and making them feel uncomfortable?
Answer:NO.. they are there to help. That is their job.
thats what you're paying them for ....so yes its fair
Oh my god, you're worried about how it might affect them?? If they couldn't handle it they wouldn't be a therapist!! Tell them now, call them right now and tell them. They are there for you 24/7 so call them now please!!
TELL YOUR THERAPIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... That's what they're there for! This is not awkward; it is vital that you tell them. How else can this person help you???
Not only fair but absolutely necessary. That's why they're there; it doesn't make them uncomfortable!
It is not only fair, it is your obligation to share this with them.
you should tell ur therapist!!
discussing with your therapist is prolly the best place to start, they work under client confidentiality, if you may need medication they can usually get it prescribed.
they are there to help you. the more you tell them about what is really going on the more they can help. please tell them. tell someone! just please make someone aware of your feelings. i dont even know you and i would feel bad if you hurt yourself.
That is like one of the number one things to tell a therapist.
Therapists are supposed to report potential suicide. choose your words carefully.
You have to tell them. That is the only way they can help you. Don麓t worry about them getting uncomfortable they have heard it all.
