Is it OK to cry
I'm going through a lot of pain & depression, & some people encourage me to let it out, & others tell me it's inappropriate & unacceptable, & they think I want attention or someone to pity me. How else can I vent out my feelings?
Answer:Go ahead an cry. It is healthy way of venting your pain. Just don't do it around the negative people. There is a time and place for venting. Some people vent emotions thru art or writing. Surround yourself with good friends who understand what you are going thru and support you. Take the time to cry it out of your system, then go do something fun and out of character (but legal). You may want to talk to your doctor about temporary medication to help get you thru this difficult time, also do not rule out therapy, It can be a great help. Therapy is not just for 'crazy' people. Above all, allow yourself to get thru this the way YOU need to, not the way others say you OUGHT to. This is about you, not them.
I say it's healthier to let it out instead of bottling it up so that later on down the line you can have a nervous breakdown. Do what feels right, don't listen to you critics.
people always say that youll feel better after letting all ur pain out..so cry for as long as you want and scream as loud as you can and let the pain come out....scream out whats making you sad ( make sure ur the onli one there on ur own time and dont disturb other ppl) and hopefully youll feel better
