However, with that said; ADHD is real and there is a chemical imbalance generally that can be medicated. However; the medication can be scarry and has to be monitored very closely. My nephew had ADD and he is successfully medicated finally. They first gave him something that made him not eat or sleep and he was like a zombie but he is on something now that works very well. He tried to go off his medication but he is more successful medicated.

it does exist but 99.9% of the time the reason is sugar.

Here is a perfect example.

I took over shcool duties for my wife when she broke her ankle ok 1st thrugh 6th grade I was there for 3 months.

Kids ate high sugar breakfast at school or on the way in form of cereal etc. Ok after breakfast if they were good they go to to buy candy at the SCHOOL SPONSERED candy machine.

ok here breakfast had at least 60-80 grams sugar then candy bar another 40 so the kids started the day with 100 grams of sugar,

Then they got to go outside runn play get the ole sugar pumping in the blood ok

Now they have to come inside sit down and be still....Impossible with all the sugar still buring in them then they have the rapid drop in sugar get sleepy so the teacher says this child won't listen can't sit still etc and etc.

Doctor says he she has ADD he gets money for the perscription and the child gets addictided to this terrible drug. This is usually the case and most children are ok just the high sugar diets are doing all the harm, and yes the doctors are to blame as well for not first asking them what is the nutrition this child is consuming if they cared it would easy to see, but the money rules and they get richer on a child expense and our tax dollars....
