In trouble with prescription drugs
thanks to babydoll and dave s. and everyone else all anwers seem to be possible to do. the drugs are lexapro (20 mil), lamictal (100 mil), lorazepam 3 mil) and vicoprophen average 2 a day. yes, scared to run out of the vicoden. i am in trouble and i know it. got anwers that seem very possible, anything else?
Answer:Lexapro (antidepressant) and Lamictal (an anti-seizure med used for mood stabilization for bipolar disorder) are not addictive at all. I wouldn't worry about those. If you and your doctor think they are helping you don't stop taking them!! There's no reason to stop them if they work for you.
Lorazepam can be addictive. If you are taking it as prescribed then don't worry about it. Your doctor prescribed it to you for a reason. If you want to go off of it then talk to your doctor first. There's nothing wrong with taking lorazepam as long as you're taking it exactly as prescribed.
Vicoprofen can be addictive. Two pills a day is not at all excessive. If you're depressed it can definitely make you feel better. It sounds like you're taking it as prescribed. If you're in genuine pain and you're taking it exactly as prescribed I see no problem at all.
If you're not in pain and taking it to feel better than it could be a POTENTIAL problem. Just be careful with it. As I said, two pills a day is not at all excessive. Although you may want to continue taking it (psychologically), it would be no problem to just stop if you want to at your current dose. You don't have a physical dependance if you're just taking two pills a day.
i am not sure of your question.............
if its a problem go to rehab. thats what they are there for. no one passes judgements
the vicoprophen would be the only thing I would worry about. Lexapro is not addictive. The lorazepam can be addictive but not so much as the vico...
