we (almost) all of us can attest to someone we know or ourselves that have had troubles, and I would imagine it would be the same, if not worse, in a big IT company.
In other words, take it easy (or do your best) and when you want to talk, talk, but until then mums the word, your condition
is on a strictly needs to know basis. Maybe your community has a support group for your condition, or presumed condition, they really have worked wonders for me.
You were in jail??!!
I dunno.
I worked on a big project.
A turd (initials D.S.L.) was messing everything up.
Made work unpleasant, thereby causing
"critical incident stress disorder" in
work colleagues.
There is nothing wrong with being discreet to your coworkers. It is not anybody's business unless you want it to be! I have often taken large amounts of time off for "stress" when I don't feel I want people to know the real reason. I wouldn't worry about it!
