Im schizophrenia and take my meds now Im in management and nobody knows>
Im a really hard worker and feel calm , my employees seem to really like me but I keep thinking what if someone finds out?Has anyone else overcame odds and done well professionally? I always hear about people with schizophrenia on skid row but I think its because they arent on meds I feel fine Im just scared and nervous about what are the odds of this working out . I feel like Im meant for this job.
Answer:you will do great ,,, stay on meds and you wont have a problem and really it is not your employees business about your health ,, so continue enjoying your job, and congrats for finding it and being so happy about it as well :)

Sounds like you need to take your pill and calm down. Everyone is schizo to a certain degree so no one cares if your medicated.

My father, a doctor, in the 1960's, knew that parents of physically and mentally disabled children had liitle option but to put their children in an institution where they were tied up each night.
So he came up with the highly un-usual idea, for those days, of having a day school (7.00a.m. to 7.00p.m. 6 days a week) for all disabled children. Some people were supportive but the majority did not agree. Councilor Dawson voiced the common idea when he said."Eh we do not want that sort of person in our town. We might catch 'IT'". My father tricked Dawson and called it the Dawson school.
