You say you're not going to kill yourself, but the thought that you even mention this says you realize it's one possibility for people who are unhappy.

Generally, the reason people commit suicide is because their world boils down (eventually) to just 2 black-and-white choices:

1.Continue in this emotional pain.

2. End the pain by whatever means necessary.

IOW, because their world has shrunk, they don't realize there's a whole bunch of "gray" they're missing----many many other choices besides these 2.

So what is worrisome to me about your email is that you say those friends, family and your boyfriend seem to be " getting farther and farther apart" from you.

In light of all the information you have, are you able to see that the potential exists for a very real and serious problem?

Please seek help from a counselor, psychologist, minister, etc.

Yes, you should go to the doctor or psychologist/psychiatrist - whether you have stress or depression. Sometimes being happy but hating your own life - is extremely serious. - You seem to me to have signs of depression.

Even though things are fine with your frendships, family, and boyfriend-there may be something else that you need to talk about.

how old are you? All teens go through this, part of the "what is it all about" thing. I went through it, you'll get through it...just try to enjoy youth...distract yourself, go out, have fun and stay away from drugs, they make it worse, trust me....
