Im having trouble sleeping It seems impossible I seriously need help
I have tried everything from counting sheep, the relaxing every muscle in my body, to trying to think on nothing. NOTHING'S WORKING!!! And my schedule is too busy and my days to active to only get 6 hours of sleep every night. Help me!!!
Answer:You probably have very high (imbalanced) levels of adrenaline, so it will be very hard to sleep naturally. Usually the only thing that helps is a lifestyle and diet change, and time. If your adrenals become fatigued, your other hormone levels run too high, and sleep is - as you see- impossible.
Try to change your diet to cut caffeine, sugar, junk and processed foods. Eat enough complex carbs, and possibly try chamomile or valerian tea, or melatonin.
I used to have that problem too ...
there are little things you can do
1. don't do work in your bedroom
2. don't watch tv or go on the computer an hour before you go to sleep
3. sleep in total darkness
4. don't drink caffeien or sugar after 3 oclock
Boo hoo. 6 hours?? That is actually enough sleep. Most people don't even get 3 hours a night. Stop complaining.
Try moving to a quieter room.
I exercise and make myself tired then go to bed.
Then I daydream about the simple pleasures in life and fall asleep.
Adults need eight hours, it's true. Another one you could try is herbal tea called Nighty Night.
