10 years old is not too young to be depressed (from personal experience). But, this may lead to other problems and issues and it would be really good if you spoke to your school counselor. They may be able to help you a lot. Please tell them what is going on. They have resources at the school to help you.
Sweetie you aren't to young to think you are depressed but you probably feel really sad right now. If it's only because you can't have a pet, well you gotta do what Mom says. My kids didn't get alot of things they wanted. If you really feel this down talk to parents. Or if you don't want to tell them talk to someone older in your family that you are close too and trust. And last talk to your teacher or an adult at school you like. You are young, I'd hate to see you so down . It's no fun even when you are older.
You need to get profession help. If you have a doctor, let him know. If you don't, call social services and tell them what the problem is and they'll refer you to the right person.
u r too young to be depressed. u should talk to ur parents and see if they can take u to a doctor. it's not normal for a girl ur age to be depressed, maybe u r just stressed out. good luck.
