Im deployed soldier that needs mental health advise that I cant get here

Im embarrassed to mention this but I need help. I am having a very hard time dealing with things here......its a combination of seeing things and also my fiancee leaving me while I have been here just wishing I could get home to her everyday......Im getting to the point now were I can't take my mind off anything but what is bothering me and it is affecting my sleep, eating, and job performance. I leave for R&R in a week is there anyone I can talk to professionally that can help me and second if I reported back to my home base and checked into a mental health facility could I be court martialed or thrown in federal prison....I have only have 4 months left here but I am on month 9 and I am not well......please help if have any advise esspecially from military personnel

first off sit down and write this girl a nice thank you note. you can't yet know what a great favor she has done for you, sounds like you would have married her. remember, in her world you're just outa town too long. if she can't hang for that... . just move on.

now then, about the important stuff. see a doctor. they will not jail you for for making sick call. it is important that you establish this medical situation now. it needs to be documented that there are service connected problems. (but get the girl outa your brain before you talk to the doc, she is not related to the problem at hand, and doesn't need to be discussed)! get the ball rolling. otherwise, just get out your short-timers calander and start ticking off the days, concentrate on the job at hand, then get your butt outa there.
